Radio Frequency skin tightening
1 May 2024 · Natasha Coutts

Radio Frequency (RF) is a non-invasive treatment that uses controlled heat energy to warm the deeper layers of the skin. That controlled warming is designed to support the skin's own collagen and elastin activity, which may help improve firmness, texture and tone over time.
RF is often used on the face, neck and décolleté for early signs of laxity, and on body areas — stomach, upper arms, thighs — where the skin has lost a little of its previous firmness. It is not a surgical result and it does not promise one; the effect is a gradual, natural-looking improvement rather than a dramatic overnight change.
A session feels warm and comfortable, similar to a hot-stone massage. There is no downtime — you can go straight back to your day afterwards. Most clients notice the skin looks a little brighter and feels a little smoother immediately, with the more meaningful firming developing over the course.
Because the effect is progressive, RF is planned as a course rather than a one-off. The exact number of sessions and their spacing is agreed at consultation, based on the area, your skin and your goals. Occasional maintenance sessions afterwards help preserve the change.
As with every advanced treatment at Goldilocks, RF starts with a proper consultation. Suitability, medical history and expected outcomes are discussed honestly before your first session.
This article is general information only and does not replace an individual consultation. Individual results vary. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.
